Garden Shredders Important Information
The capacity of Garden Shredders is affected by a number of factors and will be reduced from the stated figures in some instances. Green wood with high moisture content, wet wood, especially hard wood can all cause the shredder to struggle to shred efficiently. Never shred wood that has a diameter larger than the stated figures and in instances as above shred only smaller diameters. Allow sufficient time to cool the motor when shredding large amounts in order to avoid burnout.

Extremely powerful - yet not at all noisy, and a valuable addition to my garden shed.
This replaced my ALKO of many years and so far have found it to be as good. It handles all the usual brush, foliage and small branches with no problems. It is neat , light and easy to move around and stores in the garden shed easily. The only points I would make are a. The low height means the chippings back up too quickly and you have to keep your eyes on the bag. b. When removing the front for cleaning there are too many nooks and crannies in which material collects and therefore I have to use a scewdriver to clear it. I am happy overall with the machine and it is typically BOSCH, i.e. Good Value.
I received my shredder in double quick time at a very good price and would recommend to anyone. Thankyou regards Allan
I did a lot of research and yet the product did not do what i thought it should from the reviews i read and the product blurb it doesn't chew anything like 40mm and clogs easily i can't understand how some of these reviewers goit this performance from this machine - maybe mine was duff tooled up were good to accept a return and i have let bosch know that it just doesnt do what it says on the can be careful you are sure your purchase will not leave you having to spend ages sorting out the limited stuff that it will chew up and still facing the choice of burning - a visit to the dump or a long term compost project
