Q : Hi, I need a coiled spring for a pair of Darlac classic ratchet secateurs, can you suggest the size and dimensions I need and a price please? Then I will compare it against the original. Thanks
A : Hi John, I'm afraid Darlac is not a range we have ever stocked and I don't have any information on what types of springs you would need. We stock a small range of Gardena and Spear & Jackson replacement springs but I can only confirm compatibility with the models listed in the individual descriptions.
Q : I have a pair of Jardin secateurs. The spring has broken. The size of the broken spring, O/D 7.53mm average, I/D 5.45mm, wire diameter 1.02mm, free length 32mm. Will this spring fit? If not do you have one that will. Many thanks in anticipation of your help.
A : Hi Keith, we are able to supply a few different Gardena replacement springs but I'm afraid they haven't supplied any specifications other than the Gardena model numbers they are suitable for. As such I don't have the exact dimensions of the 5379-20 spring but I can see someone in Germany has listed it as around 4.3cm in length with an OD of 8.2mm if that's any help.
