I bought the version with the battery and charger included - but essentially the same machine. I had a Ryobi petrol long-each hedge cutter, which was heavy, noisy and dripped petrol at certain angles. I was a little concerned that a battery device would not quite do the job - but actually it is superb. Very efficient cutter, very quiet and less fuss than the petrol one. It's lighter to operate but the long leverage does mean it can feel a little heavy at times. Overall though I'm really pleased I made the switch.

Nice product, good battery power. A lot easier than having to build platforms! Would recommend.

I'm a professional gardener and although I have a very nice Stihl hedge trimmer inherited from my last job it's very noisy, heavy and I get a face full of fumes. And of course I need a ladder to reach high places. So I wanted something quieter, no fumes and able to reach those awkward places. I was a bit apprehensive whether this would be tough/good enough for my job. Well it is. I'm very impressed with this tool. Cuts through quite thick stems and the different head positions are handy. But I would say used with the extension tube it becomes unwieldy and difficult to use. Could definitely do with a second trigger in that set up.

Product is fine but took 14 days to deliver so if you need it quick then look elsewhere!

This hedge trimmer does what it says and cuts well but.... it is heavy, even with a small battery. When the extension pole is fitted the cutting head really makes it awkward to use, even with the support step fitted and unless you really tighten the joints you can feel them moving. Even when tightened they tend to work loose due to the vibration transmitted down from the cutting head. I personally wished I had gone for something lighter weight.

My extendable hedge trimmer arrived on time. I assembled it without problems. It is heavy and ungainly but that is the nature of the beast. Because I have been out of the country I haven't yet used it so that joy still awaits. There are three single starred categories for obvious reasons.
