Nicholson Square Cut Files
The Nicholson 200mm (8") Square Cut File with Smooth Cut is a longer-reach finishing tool designed for precision work on larger components. This extended length provides increased working surface area and improved reach, making it ideal for filing longer slots, keyways and surface areas where fine finishing is required.
The smooth (fine) cut grade delivers refined surface finishes on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, perfect for final fitting and finishing operations. The double cut teeth ensure consistent, controlled material removal across the extended working surface, while the slightly tapered profile maintains access to corners and recessed areas. The 200mm length is particularly suited to larger workpieces and applications requiring extended reach without sacrificing finish quality.
