An 18v machine, it uses Bosch 18v PowerForAll lithium ion batteries and features a Syneon chip for intelligent energy management, helping to ensure maximum runtime before you need to recharge or swap out the battery. The Syneon chip constantly monitors load conditions on the tool and only delivers maximum power when it is needed, conserving energy during lighter duty trimming or boosting it when it is needed to power through thicker growth. Unlike many cordless tools in the past, the EASYGRASSCUT 18-26 will also function right up until the point the battery dies, rather than gradually slowing down or stopping and starting.
