Bosch FONTUS 18v Cordless Low Pressure Washer 15 Bar

Pressure washers are powerful cleaning tools but they usually need either a tank of petrol or a connection to mains power in order to be operated. The Bosch Fontus is a fairly unique alternative in that it is powered by a PowerForAll lithium ion power tool battery and has an integrated 15 litre water tank, meaning it can be used independently of mains water and electrical supplies. Equipped with an internal accessory storage compartment, this means it is a truly portable machine and is ideal for using in remote locations and transporting in a vehicle. Being battery powered, the Fontus has a much lower pressure rating than standard pressure washers and can be used for gentler applications, including cleaning off dogs after muddy walks! Equipped with three pressure settings, it is also suitable for common pressure washer applications like hosing down cars, bikes vehicles and garden furniture. The telescopic handle can be extended out for pushing the machine on its wheels, or compacted down to save space during transport or storage.

The Fontus uses the same batteries as the rest of the Bosch PowerForAll DIY & Garden power tool range, and is available as a body only machine for users who already own a suitable battery and charger. Alternatively, it can be purchased complete and ready for use. The Fontus benefits from the inclusion of a Bosch Syneon chip to ensure longer runtimes before needing to recharge - this intelligent energy management circuit monitors battery usage and delivers only as much power as the tool needs, conserving energy during light duty use and boosting it during more demanding applications.
