Countersunk Self Drilling Timber To Heavy Section Steel Screws
This 4.8mm x 38mm Countersunk Self Drilling Timber to Heavy Section Steel Screw is the smallest diameter option in the range, making it particularly well suited to finer or lighter-duty timber-to-steel fixing applications. The slimmer 4.8mm diameter reduces the risk of splitting thinner timber sections whilst still delivering a secure, reliable fix.
Despite its compact size, it retains all the same key design features — the self-drilling point removes any need for pre-drilling, and the coarse thread with breakaway wings reams cleanly through the timber before detaching on contact with the steel, allowing the thread to self-tap into the metal. Supplied in a pack of 200 for great project value.
