This 5.5mm x 50mm Countersunk Self Drilling Timber to Heavy Section Steel Screw is a compact, versatile option well suited to lighter timber sections and thinner sheet metal applications. Supplied in a pack of 200, it is ideal for projects where a high quantity of fixings is required at a shorter length.
The self-drilling point eliminates pre-drilling entirely, making installation quick and efficient. The coarse thread with breakaway wings reams through the timber before the wings snap off upon reaching the steel, allowing the thread to self-tap cleanly into the metal. The countersunk head ensures a neat, flush finish with every fixing.
