The DeWalt DCD716D2 is a compact 10.8V cordless combi drill designed for drilling, hammer drilling and screwdriving applications across a range of materials. This sub-compact tool from DeWalt's XR range delivers versatile performance in a lightweight format, making it ideal for electrical installations, first-fix carpentry and maintenance work where space is restricted or prolonged use is required.
Powered by XR lithium-ion battery technology, this combi drill offers hammer drilling capability for masonry up to 8mm diameter, alongside standard drilling in wood up to 20mm and metal up to 10mm. The dual-speed gearbox provides 0-400 RPM in low gear for controlled screwdriving and 0-1500 RPM in high gear for faster drilling, whilst the 16-position clutch allows precise torque adjustment to prevent cam-out and material damage when driving fixings.
With a maximum torque output of 30Nm and a 10mm keyless chuck, the DCD716D2 handles everyday trade tasks with confidence. The integrated LED worklight illuminates the work area in confined spaces or poorly lit environments, whilst the ergonomic design reduces user fatigue during extended use. This kit includes two 2.0Ah batteries for continuous operation, a charger and a carry case for convenient storage and transportation between job sites.
