DeWalt DW089KD Self Levelling Laser Level and Detector

The DeWalt DW089KD is a self-levelling cross line laser level with integrated detector, designed for accurate levelling and alignment tasks across construction and installation projects. This Class 2 laser system delivers precision of ±0.3 mm/m, making it ideal for professional applications including partition wall installation, tiling, electrical conduit alignment, and general layout work.

Operating on 4 AA batteries with up to 25 hours runtime, this three-beam laser features automatic self-levelling within a 4-degree range and provides out-of-level indication when outside this tolerance. The three-button interface and low battery indicator ensure straightforward operation on site, whilst the fine adjustment dial allows precise vertical and horizontal beam positioning without relocating the entire unit.

The integrated magnetic pivot bracket enables quick mounting to metal surfaces including steel studs and framework, whilst the overmoulded housing protects the calibration mechanism under demanding jobsite conditions. The included DE0892 line laser detector extends working range up to 50 metres, making this kit particularly suitable for larger commercial spaces where natural visibility of the 15-metre indoor laser lines would be insufficient.
