Einhell GC-KS 2540 Electric Garden Shredder
The Einhell GC-KS 2540 is a 2,500W electric garden shredder designed for reducing branches and garden waste into manageable chippings, powered directly from a standard 240V UK mains socket.
At the heart of the machine are two reversible steel shredding blades driven by the powerful motor, capable of tackling branches up to 40mm in diameter. The generous funnel opening makes feeding material straightforward, while the swing-down funnel design allows quick access for cleaning and maintenance.
Safety and convenience are well considered throughout. A safety interlock on the funnel, a motor circuit breaker for overload protection, and an included prodder for safely clearing blockages all contribute to confident, controlled operation.
Mobility between work areas is easy thanks to the wheeled chassis and integrated transport handle. The collection bag clips securely onto a dedicated hook, keeping shredded material contained and tidy.

Garden Shredders Important Information
The capacity of Garden Shredders is affected by a number of factors and will be reduced from the stated figures in some instances. Green wood with high moisture content, wet wood, especially hard wood can all cause the shredder to struggle to shred efficiently. Never shred wood that has a diameter larger than the stated figures and in instances as above shred only smaller diameters. Allow sufficient time to cool the motor when shredding large amounts in order to avoid burnout.
