Einhell TC-ID 550 E Impact Hammer Drill

The TC-ID 550 E is a corded electric hammer drill which is compact and easy to handle, meaning it can be used comfortably for overhead work or in tighter spaces. An ideal addition to the household tool kit, it will help make short work of common jobs such as fitting holders in the bathroom or shower cubicle, installing shelving or securing heavy picture frames. The hammer mode enables it to drill into masonry (for example brick walls) and it can also be switched off, enabling the TC-ID 550 E to be used for driving screws, or for drilling into wood, metal, tiles, plaster and plastic.

The drill has forward and reverse modes as well as a lock-on button for continuous operation. The speed preselection dial on the trigger enables the optimum speed to be selected for the application in hand, and a depth stop is included for drilling to predetermined depths. This machine has a keyless chuck which enables drill bits and other accessories to be swapped out without need for additional tools.
