Important Information about Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaners
The tank capacity quoted is usually quoted for dry vacuuming. Capacity when being used for wet vacuuming will be significantly less than when dry vacuuming. Always read both the wet and dry capacities separately if they are published so as to understand what the difference is.
If in doubt you will always need a larger capacity vacuum than the capacity shown in the title as this will be quoted for dry vacuuming only.
The reason for this reduced capacity is that the water level has to be kept well below the motor and thus the capacity is reduced.

Bought this to replace a similar vacuum by Titan (Screwfix) which had terminal motor failure after just three years. This one sounds much more sturdy and is a lot quieter than the old one. The auto switch for power tools is brilliant and it allows you to work further from the powerpoint than the cable on the tool would normally allow. The two handles are really useful and the machine is well balanced when you lift it. It would be really good if there was a diagram showing how to stow the power cable and the many tools and attachments to all the brackets and clips on the frame coz I can't work it out. All in all a very good vacuum, much better that the Titan. At the moment I can't say how long it may last as I've only had it a month or so.
