Expert by Facom 1/4" Drive Deep Bi Hexagon Socket Imperial
The Expert by Facom 1/4" Drive Deep Bi Hexagon Socket Imperial is a 12-point deep socket designed for accessing fasteners in confined or recessed locations where a standard-depth socket cannot reach.
Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel with a high chrome finish, this socket offers excellent durability and corrosion resistance — qualities that matter on a busy job site. The deep profile makes it particularly well suited to applications where bolt threads protrude significantly above the nut face.
The OGV profile is a key engineering feature, directing tightening torque onto the sides of the fastener rather than the corners. This reduces the risk of rounding off worn or corroded nuts and bolts, making it a practical choice for maintenance and repair work on older imperial-fastened equipment.
Rated for manual use, this socket is compatible with 1/4" drive ratchets, torque wrenches, and extension bars. The 9/32" imperial sizing makes it a reliable option for automotive, engineering, and mechanical trade applications where imperial fasteners are still in regular use.
Features and Benefits:
• Chrome vanadium steel construction for strength and long service life
• OGV profile applies torque to fastener sides, reducing risk of rounding
• High chrome finish provides corrosion resistance
• Deep socket profile ideal for recessed or protruding fasteners
• 1/4" drive compatibility with standard ratchets and torque wrenches
• Imperial sizing suitable for automotive and mechanical trade applications
