Festool FS-SP 1400/T Replacement 1400mm Guide Rail Splinterguard
The Festool FS-SP 1400/T is a replacement splinterguard designed to restore precise, splinter-free cutting performance to 1400mm Festool guide rails.
Over time and with regular use, the splinterguard becomes worn and loses its ability to accurately define the cutting edge. Replacing it ensures the guide rail continues to perform as intended, allowing you to align it exactly with a scribe mark for clean, accurate cuts — even at an angle.
The replacement splinterguard features a rubber lip that presses the material firmly down along the cutting edge, minimising breakout and surface damage. On first use, the saw cuts directly through the new splinterguard, creating a precise profile that mirrors the exact cutting line of your blade.
Installation is straightforward: the splinterguard is self-adhesive and can be trimmed to size if required, making it a quick maintenance task that keeps your guide rail setup working at its best.
