Forgefix Forgefast Pozi Wood Screw

This 4mm diameter x 25mm length Forgefast Pozi Wood Screw in a pack of 200 offers reliable fixing for medium-thickness timber components with robust diameter characteristics. The 25mm length combined with 4mm diameter is particularly well-suited to securing heavier skirting boards, substantial architraves, and general carpentry where enhanced holding power is essential.

With a universally accepted Pozi-compatible drive, this screw features six underhead lobes for improved countersinking and minimal surface dust. The reinforced countersunk neck delivers enhanced holding power throughout the fixing. An anti-friction thread reduces timber splitting, prevents jacking and spinning of joined components, and provides improved drawing strength. The serrated thread design enhances pull-out resistance whilst reducing insertion torque.

The double cutting point enables faster drilling time with reduced wood dust clogging and is capable of piercing 0.8mm steel. Protected by the advanced Elementech 400 coating, this screw offers anti-corrosive protection lasting up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings. The environmentally friendly coating contains no Cr6+ and is Salt Spray tested to 400 hours.
