Forgefix Forgefast Pozi Wood Screw

This 6mm diameter x 60mm length Forgefast Pozi Wood Screw in a pack of 100 provides substantial fixing capability for very thick timber assemblies with maximum 6mm diameter characteristics. The 60mm length is particularly well-suited to securing heavy structural beams, substantial floor joists, and thick framework where extended penetration with the enhanced strength of a 6mm diameter is required.

With a universally accepted Pozi-compatible drive, this screw incorporates six underhead lobes for improved countersinking with minimal surface dust. The reinforced countersunk neck enhances holding power throughout the extended fixing depth. An anti-friction thread minimises timber splitting, prevents jacking and spinning during assembly, and provides improved drawing strength. The serrated design enhances pull-out resistance whilst reducing insertion torque.

The double cutting point allows faster drilling time with reduced wood dust clogging and is capable of piercing 0.8mm steel. Protected by the Elementech 400 coating, this screw offers anti-corrosive protection lasting up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings. The environmentally friendly coating contains no Cr6+ and is Salt Spray tested to 400 hours.
