The Gardena Smart Wireless Moisture Sensor is a wireless monitoring device designed to measure soil moisture, temperature, and light intensity for smart irrigation control. Simply plant the sensor into the ground next to a plant, and it will continuously monitor conditions at root level, transmitting real-time data directly to your smartphone or tablet via the free Gardena smart App.

This wireless sensor enables precise watering control by measuring soil moisture exactly where it matters most—at the plant's roots. The device also records ambient temperature and light intensity, allowing you to optimise watering schedules based on actual environmental conditions. All measurement data is accessible remotely through the Gardena smart App, enabling you to adjust irrigation settings from anywhere.

The sensor features robust antennae for stable, reliable wireless connectivity and represents an ideal extension to the Gardena smart system. It operates on two AA batteries (LR6, not included) and requires a Gardena smart Gateway for system integration.
