The Kew Gardens Easy Reach Cut and Hold Pruner is a lightweight long-handled pruning tool designed for cutting and retrieving fruit, flowers, and stems in hard-to-reach areas. Developed through collaboration between Spear & Jackson and the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, this pruner combines horticultural expertise with traditional British tool manufacturing quality.

The 760mm long handles provide extended reach for light pruning tasks in awkward or elevated positions without the need for ladders. The unique cut and hold mechanism grips fruit or flowers after cutting, allowing you to retrieve them easily without dropping or losing them.

The rotating body and cutting head enable you to position the pruner at various angles for optimal access. Durable carbon steel bypass blades deliver clean cuts on green stems up to 8mm diameter, whilst the PTFE coating provides rust resistance and ensures smooth cutting action. This makes the pruner ideal for rose pruning, fruit harvesting, deadheading flowers, and light branch trimming in borders and trained fruit trees.
