Kew Gardens Fixed Blade Pruning Saw
The Kew Gardens Fixed Blade Pruning Saw is a professional-grade cutting tool designed for efficient branch removal and tree maintenance. Developed through a collaboration between Spear & Jackson and the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, this saw combines heritage British manufacturing expertise with practical horticultural knowledge to deliver reliable performance for gardeners and tree surgeons.
The high carbon steel blade features precision ground teeth that provide sharp, clean cuts through branches up to 90mm in diameter. The fixed blade design offers robust cutting power, whilst the ergonomic soft-feel handle ensures comfortable grip during extended pruning sessions. An included scabbard with belt hook allows for safe carrying and convenient storage between tasks.
This pruning saw is ideal for general garden maintenance, orchard work, and managing overgrown shrubs and small trees. The 225mm blade length strikes a practical balance between cutting capacity and manoeuvrability, making it suitable for both ground-level pruning and work from ladders or platforms.
