Supplied complete with a nylon cutting head, the EM409MP features bump and feed line advancement for quick, efficient operation without interrupting your work. The narrow guard design is well-suited to both the nylon cutting head and the optional plastic blade set, giving a clearer view of the cutting zone for more precise results.
For contractors and groundscare professionals working with compatible Makita split-shaft platforms, this attachment extends the versatility of an existing power unit without the need for a dedicated trimmer. It is also compatible with the 198383-1 plastic blade set, available separately, expanding its capability for tougher vegetation.
