Marples MS500 ProTorch Bevel Edge Wood Chisel
This 50mm (2in) Marples MS500 Series All-Purpose Chisel represents the widest blade in the range, specifically engineered for heavy-duty applications, preparing large housings, and working efficiently on substantial timber sections. The generous 50mm blade width allows you to cover maximum surface area quickly, making it indispensable for larger-scale joinery and construction work.
Built with a large metal striking cap, this chisel is designed to withstand substantial hammer impacts whilst prolonging the life of the handle and preventing mushrooming. The ProTouch™ handle becomes particularly important at this blade width, providing exceptional grip comfort and significantly reducing vibrations and hand fatigue during demanding work. One-piece blade forging delivers superior strength and durability, whilst special tool steel construction ensures a much sharper cutting edge.
The specialised hardening process gives the blade a longer-lasting edge, reducing time spent re-sharpening. This chisel arrives honed and sharpened, ready to tackle demanding projects straight from the packet.
Features and Benefits:
• 50mm wide blade for maximum coverage on heavy-duty work
• ProTouch™ handle essential for controlling larger blade
