Spax Washer Head Timber Screws Wirox

This pack of 150 Spax Washer Head Timber Screws features a 5mm diameter and 77mm length, making it the shortest option in the range and ideal for applications where a more compact fixing into thinner timber sections is required. Subject to applicable national building regulations, this size is suitable for fixing facades, roofs, stairs, main battens, counter battens and timber construction elements where reduced screw length is an advantage.

The large washer head pulls two components together with great force for secure, reliable joints, while the optimised partial thread keeps overall screw length efficient. The T-Star Plus head ensures an extra secure fit when used with a compatible Spax T-Star Plus screwdriver bit.

Features and Benefits:
• Flush countersunk fit of washer heads enables additional elements to be fixed seamlessly on top of the screwed-down surface
• Flat and large washer head: high contact pressure and tensile force
• T-Star Plus heads for extra secure driving with a Spax T-Star Plus screwdriver bit
• Shank lengths tailored to the most popular wood thicknesses
• Optimised partial thread matched to the high load capacity of the washer head
• Ground serrations for quick fixing without pre-drilling (depending on type of wood)
• 4CUT point cuts through wood fibres and reduces splitting
• Wirox finish
• Chrome (VI) free
