This is relatively expensive, but if you need heat quickly it is the right tool for the job. I use mine to melt embossing powders, and this melts the powder fast and effectively. A second cooler, heat setting would be useful. I would recommend this tool.

A very well made german heat gun which i use predominantly for shrinking heat-shrink tubing. The included attachments are very useful for different scenarios where directional hot air is required. The motor runs very smoothly and the unit feels well built. The only down point for me is the leds which are virtually useless – the nozzle casts such a strong shadow on the subject you are heating (certainly when heating heat-shrink tubing) the leds may as well be off! However this certainly doesn't detract from an otherwise excellent product.

An excellent, compact and affordable heat-gun. The design and build quality is super, although i find the leds useless as the nozzle is usually so close to the thing i'm heating that it's entirely in shadow! I have only used it for shrinking heat-shrink tubing so far but i can't fault it. The attachments are very useful too.

Excellent build quality and nice selection of attachments. I have used this for de-soldering tasks and heat shrink tubing and it performed extremely well.
