Trend Acrylic Spiral Upcut Router Cutter
The Trend Acrylic Spiral Upcut Router Cutter with a 5mm cutting diameter, 19mm cut length, and 1/4" shank strikes an excellent balance between precision and cutting capacity, making it a go-to choice for medium-detail routing in acrylic and plastic materials. The 5mm size is well suited to slotting, channelling, and profile work where a finer cut than a 6mm offers is advantageous, but where a 3mm or 4mm cutter might be limiting.
The up-cut helical flute lifts swarf and chips upwards and clear of the cut, maintaining a clean cutting zone and keeping temperatures down — essential when routing acrylic to avoid melting or a cloudy edge finish. The result is a consistently super-fine surface quality.
