The ogee quirk profile is a traditional decorative moulding used in cabinetmaking, furniture making, and architectural joinery applications. The bearing guide runs along the workpiece edge to control the depth of cut and maintain a uniform profile throughout the pass.

By raising the cutter in the router, the top quirk element of the profile can be removed, giving you flexibility to produce a standard ogee shape or the full quirk variant — a useful feature when matching existing mouldings or adapting to different design requirements. Alternative bearings are available under references B95A and B127A, allowing the cut depth and profile to be adjusted to suit different applications.
