Trend Fast Track MK2 Chisel Sharpener

The Trend Fast Track MK2 Chisel Sharpener is a honing guide designed to sharpen chisels and plane irons to a consistent, precise edge. It accommodates tool widths from 3mm to 65mm and offers four selectable honing angles — 25°, 27.5°, 30°, and 32.5° — making it equally suited to initial edge reshaping and fine finishing work.

The lateral sharpening action produced by the Fast Track MK2 creates edges that are more durable and less prone to fracturing than those produced by conventional forward-and-back strokes. A removable centring clip positions narrow blades centrally within the carriage, maximising the effective sharpening stroke and improving efficiency when working with narrower chisels.

Non-slip nitrile rubber feet keep the unit stable on any work surface, while magnetic stone holders secure each stone safely in place during use. The ergonomic carriage caps reduce fatigue during extended sharpening sessions. Supplied with a 220 grit preparation stone and a 450 grit finishing stone, the kit includes everything needed to establish and refine a flat-ground, square edge straight from the box.
