Trend Foot Operated Door Lifter

The Trend Foot Operated Door Lifter is a hands-free door hanging aid designed to support and raise a door into position while fitting it into a door frame.

The tool slides neatly beneath the door, lying flat and stable until the user is ready to act. A simple foot press activates the cam mechanism, lifting the door to the correct height without the need for a chisel and bolster. This frees both hands for accurate hinge alignment and fitting — a significant advantage for carpenters and joiners working alone.

The cam design features an internal counterweight that keeps the lifter level during use, making it straightforward to operate consistently. Constructed from non-marring plastic, it protects floor surfaces and door edges during installation. Note that extra care should be taken with veneered doors to avoid surface damage.

Ideal for use with pinned hinges, the lifter is compact enough to carry in a tool belt and includes a hanging hole for workshop or van storage.
