The Trend T18S/BA4AM is an 18V lithium-ion battery pack designed to power the full range of Trend 18V cordless tools, offering a 4Ah capacity suited to sustained use on site.
Built around high-performance 21700 cells, this 4Ah battery delivers a high current output in a compact, reduced-weight form factor. The result is improved tool balance and less user fatigue during prolonged tasks — a practical advantage for carpenters, joiners, and contractors working through a full day.
The battery locks securely into compatible Trend 18V tools via a dedicated lock button, ensuring a reliable connection during use. Four LED indicators provide an at-a-glance reading of remaining charge, so you're never caught short mid-job. With a 48-minute charge time using a 6A fast charger, downtime is kept to a minimum.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.

A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance.
