Trend Threaded Insert for Wood
This Trend Threaded Insert for Wood is supplied in an M8 thread size and comes in a pack of 10, offering a convenient option for smaller projects or occasional use where a full pack of 50 is not required. The M8 thread is well suited to applications demanding a stronger, heavier-duty fixing, such as structural joinery, workbench construction, or substantial furniture builds.
Designed for use in solid woods, man-made boards, and fibre boards including MDF, these inserts create a durable and reusable threaded connection within the material. Enlarged flange ends ensure the insert cannot be pulled through the board during repeated fastening cycles, maintaining a secure fixing throughout the life of the joint.
The inserts are installed from the underside of the workpiece, so ensure access to the reverse face is available prior to fitting.
