The 12.7mm diameter is ideal for cutting wider grooves, rebates, and mortises in a single operation, reducing the need for multiple passes on broader workpieces. The 1/2" shank provides a secure, stable fit in larger routers, helping to minimise vibration during deep cutting work.

The extra-long shank design makes this cutter particularly useful for template routing where standard-length cutters cannot reach the required depth. As with all extended-shank tooling, extra care should be taken to avoid breakage.
