Wera 8790B Zyklop VDE 3/8" Drive Socket

The Wera 8790B Zyklop VDE 3/8" Drive Socket in 17mm provides a heavy-duty insulated socket option, well suited to M10 and larger fasteners found in industrial electrical panels, motor terminations, and high-voltage switchgear assemblies. The 17mm size gives electricians the coverage they need for larger hardware without sacrificing safety compliance.

Each socket is individually tested as per IEC 60900 at 10,000 V, ensuring it meets the standard for safe use at voltages up to 1,000 V. The 2-component insulation offers an added layer of protection — the yellow inner core becomes instantly visible if the outer red VDE layer is ever damaged, warning the user to remove the tool from service immediately.

A plastic sleeve is included to protect nearby surfaces during use.
