Wera Safe Torque A 1 SHK Set 20 Piece 1/4" Drive Torque Wrench Set

The Wera Safe-Torque A 1 SHK Set is a 20-piece 1/4" drive torque wrench set designed specifically for HVAC, plumbing, and heating applications, including the installation of shower cubicles and the assembly and maintenance of gas boilers and condensing boilers.

At the heart of the set is the Safe-Torque A 1 torque wrench with its slip-over release mechanism, which prevents the set torque from ever being exceeded. This makes it particularly valuable in applications where overtightening could cause damage or create safety risks. The setting range of 2–12 Nm covers both clockwise and counterclockwise operation, allowing controlled tightening and loosening with or without torque.

Setting the desired torque value is straightforward, with audible and tactile clicks confirming each scale position. The Torque Lock function deactivates the torque mechanism entirely, converting the tool into a standard ratchet suitable for high loosening moments and angle-of-rotation applications. A return angle of just 5° makes it practical in confined spaces, while the maximum breaking torque of the 1/4" square head conforms to DIN 3122.

The complete set is stored in a robust textile box and includes eight Zyklop 1/4" sockets, four TORX® Zyklop bit sockets with holding function, five hexagonal Zyklop bit sockets with holding function, a short Zyklop extension with free-turning sleeve, and hook-and-loop fastening strip — everything needed for precise torque work on-site.
