At the heart of this set is Wera's Safe-Torque A1 wrench, featuring a slip-over release mechanism that physically prevents overtightening once the target torque has been reached. This makes it particularly well-suited to tasks where over-torquing could cause damage — such as working on vehicle components, bicycle assemblies, or sensitive electrical enclosures. The setting range of 2 to 12 Nm supports both clockwise and counterclockwise operation for tightening and loosening with torque control.

The Torque Lock function allows the tool to be switched to standard ratchet mode — useful for applications requiring angle-of-rotation tightening.
