Yale X6 Kitemark Euro Cylinder Lock

The Yale X6 Kitemark Euro Cylinder Lock is a high-security replacement cylinder designed to provide superior protection against forced entry and manipulation attacks on external doors. This BSI Kitemark-approved cylinder meets TS007:2012 1 star security standards and has been tested to British Standard BS EN1303:2005, making it an ideal choice for residential and commercial properties requiring enhanced door security.

Engineered with multiple security features, this euro cylinder lock incorporates anti-bump, anti-pick, anti-screw and anti-drill protection to defend against common attack methods used by intruders. The cylinder exceeds the highest European security grade CEN 5 and carries BSI Kitemark approval (KM532920), demonstrating its robust construction and reliable performance.

When used in conjunction with Yale security furniture, this cylinder meets the requirements of PAS 024:2007, providing comprehensive door security suitable for domestic and commercial applications. The nickel plated finish offers durability and corrosion resistance whilst maintaining a professional appearance. Backed by a 10-year guarantee, this double euro cylinder is particularly recommended for external doors where protection against physical and manipulation attacks is a priority.

It should be noted that whilst this Kitemark cylinder offers additional security features and is BSI approved, the cylinder alone does not ensure the complete lock set conforms to BS 3621 – the standard required for British insurance company approval, which applies to complete lock assemblies rather than replacement cylinders only.
