Zarges Ladder Stay and Base Stabiliser

The Zarges 40250 Ladder Stay and Base Stabiliser is a ladder accessory designed to hold a ladder away from the wall, improving stability and access during a wide range of tasks.

Bolting securely to the ladder via two brackets, the stay positions the stiles clear of the wall surface — making it far easier to work on guttering, fascias, soffits, and other areas that sit flush to the building. This standoff capability is particularly useful when working around obstacles or on surfaces where a ladder would otherwise rest at an awkward or unsafe angle.

The unit spans 1200mm across, providing a solid, wide base of support that reduces the risk of lateral movement. Compatible with box section stiles measuring 58mm and 114mm, it suits a range of aluminium ladder types commonly used in the trade.
