The KA88 Belt Sander seems to be well made and I think represents good value for money. I like the retractable front feature. The dust filter canister and dust hose attachment are very tight but I suppose the tool is new and will ease off with use. I have used a far more expensive belt sander in the past and feel it had very little more to offer than the Black and Decker KA88. I haven't had the sander long enough to comment on reliability but, so far, I am very happy with my purchase.
It was exactly as described. I'm refurbing a property that had been painted with "silk" paint with a great deal of plasticiser in it. Using a fairly coarse grade sandpaper the sander is got me back to plaster very quickly. Tooled up were the best price I could find and delivered on time as promised. I would buy from them again.
This is the first belt sander I’ve owned and I am really pleased with my purchase. It appears well made, but only time will tell. I like the way the front of the sander lifts up allowing you to get much closer to the edge. Would recommend
