Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

Had the black and decker multi evo range for years since it first came out and I would not be without, got most of the attachments used regularly. The first thing to let me down was the main body. So after looking on Tooled up because there cheaper than anyone else found the replacement and also bought the complete saw as well. very happy and highly recommend

I bought the B&D MT218K multilEVO to replace my old faulty B&D drill. I had hoped the new drill would be able use the sander and jig-saw which fitted on my old drill, unfortunately they do not, they look similar but have a different fitting. If MultiEVO performs as well as my old B&D drill I will be well satisfied, i will need however to buy a new sander and jig-saw attachments.

Q : Black and decker 18v batteries will fit to all black and decker cordless devices with different models?
A : Hi Jose, the slide on 18v lithium battery used on the MT218K is interchangeable with lots of other Black & Decker 18v tools, which you can view if you click on the "Black & Decker 18v Power Connect Battery system" range page, linked to on the right of the product page. However, note that there are some products which these batteries aren't compatible with - for instance, older Black & Decker 18v tools which didn't use a lithium ion battery, certain Black & Decker 18v vacuum cleaners which have an integrated battery, and the Black & Decker 36v range, which uses a 36v lithium ion battery.
Q : I just need a drill, 2A battery x1, charger x1, but I don’t need the case, how much is it? Is it the case is equal to the charger? When I un pick the case, the price go back to £47 Thanks
A : Currently all the variations we sell include a case, so there is no option to untick it as such. You'll notice you can't actually add it to your basket until you've selected the case and until then it just displays the "from" price, which is £47.95

Q : How can I buy the Black and Decker MT218K MULTiEVO 18v Cordless Multi Tool together with the 12 heads pls. As I understand only the tool is £47...
A : Hi Ronaldo, as mentioned in a previous answer below we don't actually sell this as a complete kit with all the available heads and I'm not aware of the MT218K being available in this option. This tool is supplied with the drill driver head only - we do sell some of the MultiEvo heads separately so you could buy the ones you want at the same time of course.

A : Hi Danny, yes absolutely - in fact, if you click on the "See the Whole Range Here" link on the right of the product page you'll be able to see the complete range of products we stock that share the same battery system.
Q : is the tool is available with it's 12 heads ? and how much all is cost
A : Hi Sayed, unfortunately we don't sell this as an all-in-one kit and you'd have to buy the individual components separately.
Q : Multievo multi tools are they compatible with 240volt and 18volt devices
A : Hi John, the MultiEvo system has been around for a while and unfortunately I'm not familiar with every tool on the platform - as far as I know all the tool heads will fit all tools in the range, whether they are old or new, corded or cordless. However it appears that not all the attachments will work with every tool as I can see it has been reported that the hedge trimmer attachment won't work with one of the older 240v units for example. So it may be worth trying to ascertain the compatibility for the individual models you have in mind before making a purchase, just in case there are any issues.
