Like most poles saws the black and decker is top heavy when at full extension, but so long as you try not to overreach your own limitations it works well. Easy to put together despite the instructions not being that clear. Overall it is early days but it does the job well and at a fraction of the cost of some more expensive makes/models. Fast process from purchase to delivery.

Pretty good pole chainsaw. Takes a bit of getting used to the chain tightness required to keep it running. Top tip keep checking.. especially with a new chain which stretches easily. 2 stroke oil not supplied but when loaded also needs a constant check. Biggest drawback is that it’s very heavy. Otherwise does a good job on trees, it tends to jam a lot trimming hedges.

As I am 83, it was a bit heavy. But I got used to it and it performed well. It was easy to assemble and I would recommend it.

Nothing wrong with the product but the packaging needs rethinking. Due to the item being so long, the carriers try to fold it in half or throw heavy boxes on top. The first one went back as the carton had been ripped open and DHL had resealed it. The second one had edge reinforcement strips added but still had holes pinched in the box. An extra outer jacket would be the only way to protect the product.
