Used it today for the first time does what it says in the box heavier than I thought and needs some adjustment on the handle and shoulder strap but performed well and battery lasted 45 minutes on low mode . The only thing I would mention as a down was the booklet , not very explicit as to how to mount it plus saying that an 8 year old could use it if taught ???? No way would I let that happen

Excellent piece of equipment, well balanced and the cutting size is very good. The guard gives a good idea for your cutting line, only issue is I purchased on a dual deal thinking I got a battery with each piece eg Strimmer and hedge cutter. Only one battery between the two. However 2 hrs using the hedge trimmer and only 50 percent used and I have a large 50m+ hedge. It did take two weeks from one item delivered to receiving the Strimmer and no email to say sorry or your item is on its way

I've had this trimmer a few weeks now and used it several times. Firstly, assembly is relatively easy - the only fiddly bit is fitting the plastic guard. It is easy to use, although I must admit that I have not got the height totally sorted yet. My other/previous strimmer is a petrol version, which is obviously more powerful (and temperamental), but this trimmer coped pretty well with the longish grass around my raised beds. It had got a bit straggly following a drought period followed by rain. I'm happy with the battery life as it got round my largish garden about 1½ times before needing a recharge. The line feed works seamlessly. Overall, I'm happy with this product.

It came with a strap for which there were no instructions. Neither you nor B&D could give me any instructions

Very disappointed with battery life, low power 25minute cut time, full power 15minute. Advertised as capable of cutting over 3700 linear metres on full charge, be lucky to get 500. Only suitable for tiny garden work. Waste of money at £220 approx, wish I'd bought strimmer with 2 stroke engine instead because that's now what I'll have to do.
