So far so good. haven't used them all yet, but have used the smallest. I had some trouble breaking other, cheaper, drill bits and this became a real frustration. These are much more robust and you seem to need only the one set rather than 5 times as many cheaper ones. I have used the smallest drill so far, many times, every time just like the first. Impressed so far.

I originally bought a set of these for the fact they are made of higher grade "hss" tool steel than typical wood drill bits. To my surprise, what is not clear in the product photo is the hex shaft, intended for quick-change chucks but also subsequently allows them to be used in an emergency in a compact electric screwdriver which is still more compact than the smallest cordless drill. The other advantage of a hex shaft is they cam be used, with care, on the end of a driver extension, to reach awkward spots as i am doing now. Except i can't find my original set of these bits so i'm ordering another set now! Most quick-change bits are for metal or masonry, so this has been a really good find.

These wood drills are a splendid addition to your elecric screwdriver. They enable you to drill pilot holes in, say, hardwood frames. the drills are razor sharp and they run true.
