Excellent product.
Although the machine is a little on the heavier side (due to the battery pack) compared to other strimmers i have had, it is far better than the strimmers that have the cords! Takes seconds to renew the blades and unlike the strimmers with the cords doesnt snap every few metres!!! Its also so much easier to use than with an electric cable.
What a poor design for the purchaser, but a great one for the suppliers of bits of plastic (v. Expensive ones at that). Please some one tell me if there is a adapter to convert to line or 250mm pcs of line. As other people have suggested buy a line trimmer and save yourself £'s
Do not buy this to strim up to walls or wood. the blade only lasts about 3m a line strimmer is needed!! it is good for large wild areas of grass but not lawns.
The useless snap-on cutter is what the trade calls 'added value' ie. You spend lots of money just to keep using it. It wears away very quickly when edging and can fly off if it hits a hard edge. Buy a wire feed type instead.
The first ever bosch product that i could describe as rubbish. the blades last literally two minutes.
