Excellent off-set drill attachment for the IXO electric screwdriver. It was the only way I could have drilled a couple of very awkward to access holes required for a rewiring job (a typical mains or battery drill would be far too large to be able to drill holes really close to a corner). Relatively costly compared with the screwdriver itself, but well-made and worthwhile considering its usefulness.

Customer Questions & Answers
Q : How many drill bits are included with the adapter, and what sizes? Does the adapter fit all IXO models?
A : We've just checked the stock and these come with the three drill bits pictured (2mm, 3mm and 4mm) - as far as I know the drill adaptor will fit all the current generations of IXO screwdriver. The box shows it is compatible with the earlier (green, silver and red) versions and the Bosch website shows it connected to one of the latest versions. It's hard to keep up with how many there have been now but I would guess it should work with all of them as I can't see any disclaimer that it won't.
Q : does this increase the rpm or the torque or both?
A : When drilling you generally want a higher gear (higher speed, lower torque) though I'm afraid I don't know what effect this adaptor has on either speed or torque as Bosch haven't published any specs. Most people will find the locking bit holder to be the most useful feature of this accessory, as without it the drill bits tend to get stuck in the material you're drilling and detach from the tool

This product carries a full 3 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables.
