Q : Does this work with presta valves on road bikes and go up to 100 psi?
A : Good afternoon, the Bosch EasyPump comes with an adaptor for Presta valves. In regards to the PSI you would need to speak to Bosch directly.
Q : I have a ford transit 3.5 ton tipper the rear tyres need 60.9 psi 4.2 bar.Will this machine be able to inflate & cope with this ???
A : Hi Glen, while the EASYPUMP is certainly capable of inflating to that pressure value, I'm not sure whether your Ford Transit would constitute a "large vehicle" (something the user manual says it's not suitable for). I would suggest contacting Bosch directly as their technical team should be able to assist in more detail. Q : Hi does the pump have an air release feature? Cheers
A : Hi Jonathan, I can't see any reference to an air release feature in the user manual (which is available to view at the bottom of our product page if you want to take a look)
Q : Hi, Does this item include battery & charger or do you have purchase these as an extra?
A : Hi David, whenever a product on our website says it has an "integrated" battery (as is the case with the Bosch EasyPump) it means the battery comes pre-installed from the factory. The EasyPump comes with a USB cable for recharging the battery but as is becoming common with handheld electronic devices now, there is no power adaptor supplied. I believe this is primarily an initiative to reduce electronic waste, as most people will already have a suitable USB port on an existing adaptor, e.g for charging a mobile phone.
Q : Warranty on this product? Global warranty provided?
A : The Bosch EasyPump is supplied with a three year warranty; however we only sell within the UK and Ireland, and as such I'm not sure if there are limitations to this if used in other countries - if this is a concern I would recommend speaking to Bosch to see if they can clarify further.
Q : How long does it take to inflate a completely flat car tyre or bicycle tyre?
A : This would depend on the size of the tyre but it can deliver up to 10 litres of air per minute
Q : What is the capacity of the battery(IE- Ma Hrs)
A : Hi Geoff, as listed in the specifications Bosch have said the battery has a 3ah (ampere hours) capacity. They refer to this as the maximum capacity which is an unusual way of putting it and I'm not sure what factors would affect this but you may be able to get confirmation from their technical department if you contact them directly.
Q : Does this pump work with Presta bike tyre valves
A : Hi Paul, the Bosch EasyPump comes with an adaptor for Presta valves, yes. I think this is possibly what they mean by "French valve adaptor" in the contents, although Presta sounds Italian to me
Q : How long does the battery last when not used?
A : Hi John, Bosch haven't provided any figures for this (and it can be affected by variables like storage conditions) so it's a bit hard to say but as its a lithium ion battery it should hold charge for a long time in between uses. Most lithium ion power tool batteries will only lose a small percentage of their charge during several months in storage, which was not the case with older battery technologies like NiCAD.
Q : Hi, how many tyres would this pump up on a single charge. If the tyre was on a van and showing only 20psi and needs to pump up to 50 psi ? Thanks
A : Hi Dave, it's a bit hard to say as Bosch haven't provided any figures for this though if you contact their technical team via the UK website, or by phoning them on 0344 736 0109, they may be able to advise further. Note however that it is part of the Home & Garden range and is only really intended for infrequent use, so isn't designed to be used in an everyday working environment like a garage for example.

This product carries a full 3 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables. In the unlikely event of a fault the item returned is subject to fair wear & tear and must not have been used beyond the scope of it's design.
