Bosch GBH 18V-36 C BITURBO 18v Cordless Brushless SDS MAX Rotary Hammer Drill
The Bosch GBH 18V-36 C BITURBO is an 18V cordless SDS MAX rotary hammer drill designed for heavy-duty drilling and chiselling in concrete, making it an ideal choice for contractors, electricians, and plumbers working on demanding construction sites.
Powered by brushless motor technology, it delivers an impact energy of 7.0 J and an impact rate of up to 2,900 bpm, with a rated speed of 0–500 rpm. The SDS MAX tool holder accommodates hammer drill bits from 14–35 mm in diameter, making it well suited to core drilling, anchoring, and channel work through reinforced concrete.
At 5.3 kg (excluding battery), this is a notably compact and lightweight cordless SDS MAX hammer. It is compatible with all Bosch Professional 18V batteries and chargers, and for peak performance Bosch recommends the ProCORE18V 8.0 Ah. It is also compatible with AMPShare, the multi-brand battery alliance, offering added flexibility on site.
Electronic features include soft start for controlled engagement when drilling or chiselling, and a lock-on button for sustained chiselling work. Connectivity is provided via the included Bluetooth Low Energy module (GCY 42), enabling tool management through the Bosch Toolbox app.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
