This is a lethal piece of kit for domestic use. Having used it to clear a jungle masquerading as a garden I reached the conclusion that this brush cutter is the best you can buy for the money before you venture into industrial petrol powered products. It sliced through everything - brambles and weeds before cutting through a bush that I can only describe as the evil cousin of bamboo; it was that tough. The brush cutter just went through it. I lost a few cutting lines but that was to be expected. Changed quickly to the metal blade that comes in the pack and cut through the rest effortlessly. The only thing I haven’t worked out is how to lock the fire button (if that’s possible) so I can continue cutting without my hand aching holding it down constantly but that’s a small inconvenience for this work horse. I cleared the whole garden in a weekend easily, knife through butter stuff, saving me over £500 getting someone in to do it. Plus she’ll last forever, the build quality is that robust. If she ever gives up on me then I’ll buy her again. I landed on my feet buying this. Would I recommend you buy one? I’d probably urge you depending on your needs. Changing the lines is easy, no feed, just unclip the casing, take the old one out, click the new one in place. Done. Changing to a metal blade is simple enough too. As you’d expect the product isn’t perfectly balanced weight wise so you may tire holding it for long periods (which I had to) but it comes with a handy shoulder strap to ease the burden. Classy bit of kit this. No doubt about it.

I am extremely pleased with my Bosch extra strong line it will almost cut through anything not good on stones though, great on brambles, thick nettles, and thistles.

Lengthy delay ( compared with all other orders during the Corona virus) in receiving the product so needed to use other means to solve the original problem.. But when it arrived it seems to work well and well manufactured. It will be interesting to see how long they last.
