Bosch GWX 18V-15 P 18v Cordless X LOCK Angle Grinder 125mm
The Bosch GWX 18V-15 P is an 18V cordless angle grinder delivering brushless BITURBO performance equivalent to a 1,500W corded tool, making it a serious option for tradespeople who need cable-free freedom without compromise.
Powered by Bosch's BITURBO brushless motor technology, this 125mm angle grinder runs at up to 9,800rpm no-load speed and is well suited to grinding metal and welding seams, as well as cutting metal, concrete, bricks, and tiles. The X-LOCK accessory fitting system allows fast, tool-free disc changes, keeping downtime to a minimum on site.
Safety is well considered throughout. The PROtection switch shuts the tool down immediately upon release, while X-brake brings the disc to a standstill rapidly. KickBack Control, Drop Control, soft start, and Vibration Control add further layers of protection, all of which are particularly relevant to professional use under HSE guidance on power tool operation.
Compatible with the Bosch Professional 18V System and the AMPShare multi-brand battery alliance, this grinder offers strong platform flexibility. For maximum output, Bosch recommends a ProCORE18V battery of 5.5Ah or above. It can also be paired with compatible Bosch dust extractors for low-dust working environments in line with COSHH requirements.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
