As some people may have mentioned, there is quite a bit of play between the base plate of your jigsaw and the channel that guides the saw. And yes, it's important when your doing cuts that they are accurate - it's obvious it's not straight when you look at the result. However, this is easily fixed. Use three strips of 3M silver duct tape either side, blading each one as you go for a neat job. You can't really notice the visual difference but there is zero play once done and cuts are spot on. Not that you should have to do this with such a well known brand. I should point out this is no reflection on Tooled-Up.com who dispatched this on something of an Amazon Prime scale - faultless.

Used the pls 300 for the first time today I was making nails and screw bins from plywood and found it very accurate on all the cuts I was making. So on first impression I am very please and can see me get a lot of use from this piece of equipment

I wish i'd had one of these years ago; i've lost count of the amount of timber i've had to take to the recycling centre just because my jigsaw wandered too far off line. combined with my newly-purchased bosch jigsaw such problems are a thing of the past. easy adjustments mean accurate cuts every time. No more wasted timber!

I was initially put off by reviews from people who must be working to engineering tolerances.I eventually decided that such reviews were misguided and bought the bosch pls 300 saw station and i am delighted with it. After doing a few practice cuts, the results were so good that i did all the cutting for my next project in one session - and very easy and accurate it was too.Well worth the money, particularly the amount tooled up charge for it. even the courier service used by toole up is excellent without being expensive.
