Bosch TRUVO Basic Cable and Pipe Wall Detector

Unfortunately you can't always be certain as to where pipes and cables have been routed through a wall. However, one thing you can be certain of is that drilling into them is going to be bad news. The latest model in the TRUVO series from Bosch is designed to give DIYers a bit more insight into what's lurking behind their walls and incorporates a traffic light and audio warning system for live cables and metal objects. The TRUVO lights up red when it detects a metal object right next to it, amber when there are metal objects in the immediate vicinity, and green in areas where no hazards are detected. For further convenience, dedicated LEDs with metal and live-wire icons show specifically what the detector has found. A single on-off button and automatic calibration ensure direct start-up for scanning tasks. A language-neutral quick start guide with simple graphics is included to help with correct handling of the tool, ensuring more accurate results.

Bosch are committed to reducing the environmental impact of their products, and the TRUVO is now more sustainable than ever: it comes in polybag-free packaging and the user maual, leaflet, quick start guide, cardboard carton and the housing of the tool itself are all made using recycled materials.
