Bosch UNIVERSALAQUATAK 135 Pressure Washer 135 Bar
To help determine the type of pressure washer required it is important to consider the size of your cleaning task and level of duty, i.e. how big is the cleaning object and how often will you need to clean it? Below is an explanation of the two main types of pressure washer. Whilst bar pressure is important the overiding factor in cleaning power is the water flow rate. More water = better cleaning.
Home & Garden (sometimes referred to as domestic, DIY or consumer).
Lightweight, easily portable and designed for regular use in a domestic environment, these machines range in power to suit the size of your cleaning task. Models featuring ‘water cooled motor’ technology offer greater performance, and top of the range machines are often fully loaded with accessories.
Xpert or Professional (sometimes referred to as commercial or industrial)
Heavy duty, robust and designed for maximum durability, Xpert or Professional machines have higher pressure and flow ratings, enabling you to clean with far greater speed and efficiency. These machines are not readily available on the high street or in DIY superstores and often feature upgraded components throughout
Jargon Buster:
• Bar or PSI: Bar is the most common measure of pressure. PSI = bar x 14.5.
• Bar (max): This is the pressure achieved when the machine is first turned on
• Bar (rated) pressure: This is the operating water pressure of the machine.
• Motor size (kW): Motor size indicates power providing the machine runs efficiently.
• Flow Rate (l/h): Higher flow rates enable you to clean large areas or objects faster
Did You Know:
Pressure Washers use up to 80% less water than garden hosepipes.
Pressure Washers are not subject to hosepipe bans if used for safety reasons, or if a suction hose is used to pull water from a harvested source. i.e. not the water mains. They are also not subject to a ban if used for commercial reasons, for example to maintain cleanliness, hygiene or company image.
Important things to remember when using your pressure washer:
• Always use an RCD when using electrical products in connection with water.
• Never use a non-return valve at the pressure washer connection to a hose pipe.
• Never drive over or lay items on high pressure hoses to avoid damage.
• Your water supply hose should be a min of several meters long and unwound from its reel.
• If you are using an extension lead, check that it is rated at min of 13 amps and fully unwound from its reel.

So far so good. I have used this product to clean off the wheels of my car, the tarmac driveway, three different patio areas (one with porcelain tiles, one with slate and another with old sandstone) and various boots and pots. Outstanding. No drips from any of the connections and certainly not as noisy as some of these machines can be. But, of course, the best thing was the speed and high-quality service I discovered by using Tooled-Up in the first place. I had only found them via an internet search (always mesmerising) and am so relieved that I chose wisely.
Had a yellow pressure washer before this, the Bosch is light years ahead in design, build quality and it actually shifts muck with the standard lance rather than needing the turbo lance as the yellow one did. A top quality item supplied by a top quality company, Tooled Up are now most certainly my first port of call for any type of toolery.
Bought for someone else. Not used yet. Have Bosch myself and it is excellent.
great pressure washer very powerful great for cleaning the patio with the patio brush
Boy! This is a machine well worth having and well worth the money. I would certainly recommend this machine to anyone who wants to do some pressure cleaning, it beats the other ‘well know make’ outright.
This 135 version replaces the 130 I've passed on to my son after several years service during which only the hose needed replacing. After first use the new one seems every bit as good as the old one, with one or two improved tweeks. Good tool that does its job without fuss.
Excellent product, made a good job of cleaning patio. Easy to use, much better than my previous Karcher one.
After years of using a Karcher, which finally gave up the ghost having had greater leaks and poor performance for the last couple of years, I started to look around for a replacement. Cutting a long story short, after much research and reading dozens of reviews where I found more and more people complaining about the current build and reliability of Karcher, I decided to not buy another one. With most of my power tools having been Bosch for many years and much of our household equipment being made by Bosch. I was pleased to find this Bosch power washer that received some great reviews. Having now used the machine for several hours over 3 days, I can only say that I am totally delighted with this Bosch pressure washer. Great cleaning pressure, lightweight, easy to move, compact, variable nozzle, not overly noisy and feels like a quality product. I would recommend this product
Looks good so far! used it a few times so far. Good power on the maximum setting. Light and manoeuvrable. Cable length lets it down, but I've extended it with a (waterproof) connector and another 12m of cable.
Excellent. Have used it loads already.
Excellent product does what it says.
Very happy with what is ultimately our first pressure washer purchase. It's already helped tidy up the brickwork on our new build, along with clearing a blocked drain too. Now to buy some accessories to clean the car etc... Great service from Tooled Up as well. Highly recommend on both counts.
Excellent pressure washer, very happy!
Very disappointed for the money, previously had a challenge extreme argos machine, and this has nowhere near the same power, the lance is also too small, needs to be longer, and it appears no extensions are available!

Customer Questions & Answers
Q : Hi, could you please tell me the length of the lance? Thanks
A : Hi Nicholas, Bosch haven't published the dimensions of the lance but you can get a rough idea from looking at the images of it in use if that helps?
Q : Advert has free patio washer is this included?
A : Hi Kathy, unfortunately this appears to be an old promotion which has since finished but is still showing up on some third party links. We do sell these separately, along with lots of other AQT accessories which can be viewed in the "Accessories for this product" section of the product page
